First Great-West serves customers in New York through group retirement savings products and services, individual life insurance and annuities, and business-owned life insurance products. These are provided through two business segments, Retirement Services and Individual Markets. Retirement Services Through Great-West Retirement Services^®, we provide retirement savings programs as well as marketing and communication services to employers in the government, healthcare, education, and private sectors. We provide pension plan recordkeeping and administrative services through an affiliated company, FASCore, LLC. Plan sponsors and participants benefit from our solid track record of customer retention, continually improving online services, and expanding marketing and educational programs.

	Retirement plans for public, private and nonprofit employers
	Enrollment services, communication materials, investment options, and education services to employer-sponsored defined contribution plans

	Comprehensive administrative and recordkeeping services for financial institutions and employer-sponsored defined contribution plans and associated defined benefit plans
	Investment management products and services for both variable and fixed fund investment options

Distribution Systems
	Defined contribution services are distributed by First Great-West and its affiliates and a network of independent agencies.

	FASCore provides its recordkeeping and administrative services directly to financial institutions and custom plans.



Individual Markets Through our Individual Markets segment, we provide individual annuity and life insurance products to a broad market, ranging from middle-income individuals to corporate executives, as well as business-owned life insurance products. First Great-West also administers annuities and individual life insurance policies issued by Canada Life Insurance Company of New York prior to the merger of the two companies on Dec. 31, 2005.
